PocketScore Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 11, 2026
PocketScore is built on a simple principle: we don't want your data, so we don't collect it.
What we collect
Nothing. PocketScore has no user accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party trackers. We do not collect, store, sell, or share any personal information, usage data, location data, or device identifiers.
Network requests
The app makes one kind of network request: it fetches live game scores from SportsDataIO, a licensed sports data provider. These requests contain no information about you — only which league's scores the app is requesting. Like any internet request, your device's IP address is technically visible to the server that responds; it is not logged or used by PocketScore. SportsDataIO's own privacy policy is available at sportsdata.io/privacy-policy.
Health data (Apple Watch)
The Apple Watch version uses a workout session solely to keep score tracking and haptics running while your wrist is down. PocketScore does not read, write, collect, or transmit any health or fitness data.
Data stored on your device
Your preferences (selected league, buzz patterns, settings) are stored locally on your device only and never leave it. Deleting the app deletes them.
Children
PocketScore does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children. There is nothing to collect.
Changes to this policy
If PocketScore's privacy practices ever change, this page will be updated and the date above revised. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
